This guide explains how to use Symbols.hosti.me to create, manage, and share symbol-based communication pages.

Quick Start

1. Open Home to see the platform overview.
2. Create an account at Register (or sign in at Login).
3. Open Page Builder to design a symbol page.
4. Use My Pages to save, rename, move, and delete files.
5. Use the PDF option in the builder to export printable output.

Accounts & Access

• Register: accounts/register.php
• Login: accounts/login-ui.php
• Account Help: accounts/help.php
• Profile: accounts/me.php
• Logout: accounts/logout.php

Most creation and file-management tools require a logged-in account.

Using Page Builder

1. Open Page Builder.
2. Click Add Symbol to browse/search symbols by category.
3. Click Add Text to place editable text boxes.
4. Drag items to position them on the canvas.
5. Use the File menu to save, rename, move, import, or export .HSymbols files.
6. Use the PDF button to export bordered or borderless PDF output.

Managing Pages & Folders

• Go to My Pages to view your files and folders.
• Create folders for better organisation.
• Rename and move items from the options menu on each card.
• Deleted items are sent to Recycle Bin and can be restored.
• Recycle Bin items are permanently removed after 30 days.

Organisations

• Create or request organisation access from the organisations area.
• Manage shared resources in orgs/manage.php.
• Accepted users can work with organisation-owned files alongside personal files.

Admin Tools

If you have admin access, you can use:

• admin/index.php for admin sign-in
• admin/dashboard.php for dashboard tasks
• admin/smtp-test-ui.php to validate SMTP delivery

Troubleshooting

• If you are redirected to login, your session has expired; sign in again.
• If symbols do not load, refresh once and check your internet connection.
• If save/export fails, confirm you are logged in and try again from My Pages.
• If email verification fails or your account is deactivated, submit a request at accounts/help.php.
